It makes 0 sense to buy the 4th gen grippen fighter over the fifth gen f35. Not only would we be at a tactical disadvantage we would be stuck with them for the next 50 years.

The fact of the matter is that nato and its allies rely on the f35 for air superiority and its connected battlefield technology which gives it a huge advantage.

The f35 from a performance standpoint excels above the grippen in literally every category.
