Half-Life 1 on the Nokia N95 finally reached 30 FPS! Some slowdowns remain, but I've already identified the cause and am working on a fix. Mouse and keyboard support has also been added. Still a few bugs to fix, but it's getting there.

I believe what Anthropic is doing, gating the ability to do certain harmless things like LLM research, and with incredibly sensitive filters that even medical questions are often blocked, is *deeply* wrong. They got open research, the Transformer, GPT2, ...

Once anthropic can make money from their own software without selling the model but selling services created by their model they will stop being a model provider.
They are using you and selling to you as a stop gap before "AGI"
@nirbheek Nonsense. Open source will be fine. What will change is the model as social networks collapse under bots and the GitHub model fails. We did fine before GitHub and will do fine after. SQLite is a great example.
