I'm a @PGA pro building an AI golf instruction knowledge brain based on my students' lesson notes and transcripts.
After a lesson, both get saved as-is. Then they get filed and linked: the miss, the cue, the drill, and whether the ball flight actually changed.
It's @karpathy's LLM wiki, but pointed at my students. The original notes stay raw. The wiki is the version that compounds. Next lesson updates the pages it should, instead of that hour dying in a notebook I never open again.
That's why I can say I've used a cue with 13 golfers. Not a vibe. 80+ real lessons in there, growing every time I teach.
@SawyerMerritt Getting Google Maps pictures of houses and then using ai to put Christmas lights on it. Going to send it to the homeowner and see if I can install them for him
YouTube golf instruction is like a giant pharmacy.
There is a pill in there for everyone, but if you take the wrong one it will make you sick.
What is the worst swing tip you ever tried?
Yesterday in my ladies clinic, we learned about the spectrum of grip strength and its effect on clubface at impact. Stronger grip= face more closed, weaker grip= face more open etc.
Not one of them needed a weaker grip. They all needed some amount of face closure.

Might just have to build my own OpenFlight open source golf launch monitor. @colemangolfs you are a genius. As a golf science/tech dork this is the coolest thing I've seen since Gears or Jacobs3D. Let's put TMan out of business!!
