Energy regulator Ofgem announces a 9.2% rise in fuel bills from 1 April for millions of customers on default tariffs. Typical bill will increase £96 a year, £23 of that is to pay the bills of people who can't pay and default. Prepay customers get 8.1% rise, typically £87 a year.
