@gregauman Wonder if interviewing multiple in-house candidates may create some additional departures if an in-house individual is chosen. Example: would Van Dam want to stay on staff if Thad is given the job or visa versa. Knowing you didn’t get the job but staying anyway.
@StevenCheah Damage control.. PR 101. Bad report comes about Devin White, how can we flip negative to positive right away? Boom .. creamsicles within 24 hours
Mr Beast jerseys worn that night, giveaways for fans, MB videos shown throughout the game on the boards, and more!! LMK if it’s worth a convo when you get back! We play Oct-Apr every year!
@MrBeast good luck with the opening at the mall! When you get back, would love to collab around a “Mr Beast Night” at one of our Fayetteville Marksmen (NC - near your neck of the woods) hockey games! We’re a minor pro team and I think a whole themed-night would be EPIC!!
@gregauman I may have missed it as I was more focused on the Lightning game once it started, but I didn’t notice any Bucs branding on TB12’s cart. Perhaps I missed it but certainly hard to miss the other QB’s team-branding on theirs. Probably a reach but just an observation.
@the_mike_morris@walsha There are great players that never win championships because they never get put in a position to do it. Look at Matthew Stafford. If he finishes his career in Detroit, he never wins a SB. It takes an entire army is all I’m saying. Players should get credit but there’s more to it
@the_mike_morris@walsha Schematically and game-wise, yes. But there’s a reason they’re in that position in the first place. Owners invest hundreds of millions of dollars and hire coaches/GMs who build the team, and your front office runs day-to-day operations, they just don’t play on Sundays.
@the_mike_morris@walsha Agree with you. The players are WHY they watch the game. Just saying, IMO big picture is the owner runs/sits on top of the entire operation. Hires the coach/GM who brings on those players, technically speaking.
@walsha front office (business side), etc. Everyone has a part in reaching that goal. The play on the field is just the only thing that the public gets to see first-hand. It’s rightfully presented to the owner of the business, who then can share with their employees.
@walsha Respectfully disagree. At the end of the day, each individual team is a BUSINESS. The players are rightfully in the limelight because they’re the most consumer-facing part of the operation. Many deserving people/departments to make a team successful - players, coaches, trainers,
