yqy has always been an interesting character to me precisely because he's very human in the way his feelings and actions contradict each other. Yes he adores sj, yes his actions constantly hurt him even if he has good intentions. His guilt holds his tongue and stops him from

yqy's character is never gone in depth (partly because the story is told through sy's pov and whether you like it or not sy never develops a relationship with him as deep as his relationship with lqq and he views him as an npc for a WHILE)
