This is a picture of my dad, Steve. I tend to get really emotional when I talk about my dad. He is deeply empathetic with the sort of grounding, nurturing presence that few possess.
I have a last-minute opening for an aspiring PhD student to join my lab this Fall to conduct an action research project on sustainability in Texas wine. This *fully funded* opportunity is on an accelerated track, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026. @txst @txstategeo

@andreavbecker Every DEI meeting I’ve ever been a part of is an endless loop of discussing what to discuss at the next discussion.
It’s like “Here is what we’d like to discuss. Now let’s spend the next 25 minutes figuring out what day works for everyone to discuss those things.”
