Cool experiment at @Saar_Uni during nwt3 @EtnThread. The #auxetic structure is a negative Poisson's ratio #metamaterial. Due to the periodic lattice structure, the global behaviour in tension results in bulging in lateral direction. Thanks to Sudhanva for explaining the details!
