Chinese Fishing is the single largest threat to the global marine ecology & biodiversity. Chinese Fishermen are destroying the fishing resources of possibly every coastal country.

The fishing stock in the waters of South Korean, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan & Malaysia in China neighbourhood, has drastically reduced.

Chinese distant water fishing fleets are now posing survival threats to the small fishermen in the distant waters off Africa, Middle East, and South America. In South America, countries like Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Chile etc are facing imminent environmental & food crisis due to China's illegal unreported and unregulated fishing.

In a welcoming move, Japan has now vowed to help the South American countries fight the menace of Chinese illegal fishing, by providing them with surveillance & patrolling equipments. @yeshuaformosa @DrewPavlou @supbrow @TheAndersPaul

Having depleted fish stocks in its own coastal waters in the early 2000s, Chinese fishing boats are now destroying fishing stock all across the world.

The destruction in South America by the Chinese fishing vessels is unimaginable.

China now accounted for over 80 percent of fishing in the waters off Argentina, Ecuador, and Peru.

China is ranked as the world’s worst nation in a IUU fishing index. Random thought whilst in Singapore - NAKAKAINGGIT SILA. Upon reading, corruption USED to be widespread until they had leader, Lee Kuan Yew, who had zero tolerance policy for corruption. Cut to this day, Singapore is thriving. A beautifully developed city, smooth roads, a gorgeous airport , proper public transportation, stunning infrastructure and yet I still see green around the city. Although, after reading, the temptation of greed from officials are still there BUT once they are caught they are punished immediately. Paano na tayo Pilipinas? Ano na kaya mangyayari? I pray so hard we will all collectively vote for a leader who will want to fight corruption one day. Sana talaga. Sayang ... Pilipinas. We have beautiful mountains, the best beaches and islands in the world (for me) GREED has stolen the opportunity for this country to reach its FULL beautiful potential. ☹️ sana.. Sana talaga one day. Maybe not in my lifetime but I pray for all the future filipinos. But we have to stand up for that now. Haaaaay. Naiiyak ako.

We strongly condemn this illegal attack of the Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) against Filipino fishing boats, which left three fishermen injured and damaged their vessels. This is the first time that the Filipino fishing boats were directly struck by the CCG.
