Alex was 18. Rosa, her former teacher at Tangara, was in her thirties. She introduced Alex to Opus Dei, then started a relationship with Alex when Alex was depressed. At the same time, Rosa was teaching at Tangara that same-sex relationships/ sex before marriage are forbidden.
