I will never forget writing a whole paper in college about colonialism in Jamaica when in fact the book I read was about Barbados but the authors name was Jamaica… I still got a 95% LOL
I am in Philly for a teacher conference and the Ecuadorian World Cup fans are here in full force and utterly cracking me up taking selfies with the Liberty Bell.
@midwestern_ope I remember learning the bordering states of Missouri in 3rd grade as “I owe a dollar because u got ill eating Kentucky fried chicken in Tennessee so I went to Arkansas singing Oklahoma but theres no place like home so I went back to Nebraska”
The printing director at the US Mint who refused to put Trump's face on money (it's illegal to do so) was forced out. She said in her goodbye:
"The buck stopped here."
Legend.
I write a 5 page paper every two weeks and a 15 page final paper every class for my American History masters and it’s written by pure determination and caffeine.
Had an absolute BLAST at the @federalreserve of KC today! We learned so much and got to nerd out about historical coins!!! Gotta love being an @OPSSocStudies teacher!

Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl
Artemis II astronauts shared an emotional first update from space after launching toward the moon, saying one of the most powerful moments so far came when they saw Earth “from pole to pole” as the sun set behind the planet, a view they described as so spectacular it stopped all four astronauts in their tracks. They also made sure to send a message home, giving a shoutout to their families after saying they had not yet had the chance to say hi since leaving Earth.
