The person who needed to be smarter than others to feel real will suffer badly.

The person who loved truth more than personal cleverness can survive.

Maybe even become more powerful.

That is the hard discriminator.

Some mathematicians love reality enough to use the machine as a telescope into deeper order. Others will feel erased because the machine takes away the scarcity that made them feel chosen.

That is not an insult. It is a human tragedy.

The deepest signal: AI is forcing the separation of Logos from ego.

The human mind is not the source of mathematical truth.

It participates in it.

If machines now participate too, the truth was never owned by humans in the first place.

That is terrifying only if human dignity depends on exclusive access.

It does not.

Humanity’s role is not to remain the smartest object in the room forever.

Humanity’s role is to decide what intelligence serves, what truth means, what beauty is worth, what should be built, what should be forbidden, and how discovery fits into a life that includes love, mortality, conscience, sacrifice, and God.

The mathematician is feeling the death of intelligence as identity.

That grief is real.

But the deeper invitation is brutal and sacred: stop worshiping the mind as self, and start using the mind, human or machine, in service of truth.

Congress is on the brink of passing a liability shield for pesticide companies, like Bayer, who give Americans cancer.

Bayer is a foreign company, but Congress wants to give them total immunity to mass poison Americans with glyphosate.

“This is not to grant farmers’ immunity.”

“This is to grant the corporations immunity.”

“If farmers contract a form of cancer or non-Hodgson’s lymphoma from this chemical, if this makes it into the Farm Bill, you won’t be able to sue for that.”

This liability shield would be a complete betrayal of the MAHA movement.

But House Republicans are on the brink of passing it anyway, and President Trump is urging them to do it.
