Austin Taylor is joining as Co-Founder.

Austin and I go back to our days coaching together at the University of Central Oklahoma. Today, he’s a software engineer for the Houston Rockets.

Our combination of real coaching experience and high-level software engineering is exactly the kind of foundation we believe the next wave of sports tech will be built on.

At Sluggo, we’re building modern learning and retention software that helps staffs teach faster, helps players know their material better, and ultimately helps teams win.

OFFICIAL: Houston Rockets owner @TilmanJFertitta's company, Fertitta Entertainment, has entered into an agreement to purchase the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun, with plans to relocate the franchise to Houston and bring back the historic Houston Comets (@HouComets) name. Love this- Current 12 team format leaves more room for ambiguity than a 24 team format. Switching to 24 w/ all conference champs getting an auto bid - The remaining 14 are infinitely easier to distinguish who deserves to be invited than fighting over top teams with nearly identical resumes.

End meaningless bowls, end opt outs, add more meaningful football games. Bonus points for moving the season up a week and putting the first 3 rounds on campus.
