'TEAM AMOY ASIM': 'AMOY LIU,' 'FERNAN AMUY,' 'JOUG DE ASIM' JOIN GROWING CONFIDENTIAL FUND 'BUDOL GANG'
House Deputy Majority Leader and La Union 1st District Rep. Paolo Ortega revealed that the list of alleged beneficiaries of impeached Vice President Sara Duterte's P612.5-million confidential funds continues to expand, with a new set of suspicious names—"Team Amoy Asim"—including "Amoy Liu," "Fernan Amuy," and "Joug De Asim."
These names follow earlier discoveries of questionable beneficiaries, such as "Mary Grace Piattos," "Renan Piatos," "Pia Piatos-Lim," "Xiaome Ocho," "Jay Kamote," "Miggy Mango," and five individuals all named "Dodong."
Ortega said 1,322 out of 1,992 supposed OVP fund recipients had no birth records, suggesting fabricated identities. Similarly, House Good Government Chairperson and Manila 3rd District Rep. Joel Chua flagged 405 out of 677 DepEd fund beneficiaries as non-existent.
"Anong klaseng payroll ito? Lahat ng pangalan parang gawa-gawa lang," Ortega said, urging Duterte to answer allegations ahead of the Senate impeachment trial in June.
