A 22-year-old Brazilian woman had roughly 22 pounds of breast tissue removed after a rare condition caused her breasts to grow so rapidly that ordinary clothes no longer fit.
Thaynara Marcondes, from Paraná, developed gigantomastia in 2024. The growth left her struggling with severe back pain and needing custom-made clothing.
Donations helped fund her surgery that October, when doctors removed around 10 kg of tissue.
Pricing is dumb when it comes to art.
It's so bad when it comes to the crochet community. They think they can sell little plushies for like $30-$40 just because it took hours to make when really they're worth like $10-$15
@de_henne It'd be easier to do that if AI wasn't ruining the environment, datacenters weren't being built illegally, and if people didn't try to take actual business from real humans when we are already struggling enough as it is
yes I use ai why? well no good artist has reached out yet and offered a real good deal or price or even proved that they can handle or do the work that I need done so I do what I have to do and do it myself...
@Hachi_Ka_@BellenSmellen Your reasoning doesn't really work as in November of 2025 they sold out within hours. This is actually a repeated thing, not a result of going viral. Do more research please!
@Gabogabrielo@GaimerNutria Not really. Sold out in a day, and also in November of 2025 they sold out within hours.
So no they didn't. You just don't like the price personally, which is fine. Just move on with your day and put the money elsewhere. People value different things and some really value art
@KR_Kowtam Hey Kowtam. I think you should know that the person posting commissions is 1 singular person, not a studio! Also, animators in studios are severely underpaid!
Take the time to learn next time please!
Everyone's chanting "tax the rich" without actually looking at the numbers.
Someone earning $200k pays roughly $42,000 in federal income tax.
Someone earning $30k pays around $1,800.
That means it takes about 23 people earning $30k to match what one person earning $200k contributes.
So why is the policy conversation constantly aimed at pushing high earners out, when they're already carrying the overwhelming majority of the load?
The issue was never how much revenue comes in.
The issue is how much gets wasted once it's collected.
Stop aiming at the earners.
Start aiming at the spending.
@takarithmeticVT This looks so ugly and looks so off.
Don't compare the slop the clanker outputted (learned and stole from HUMANS) to something a human made that is cohesive and doesn't look odd.
@Tomi88885 It's really unreasonable to just scream and cry on the internet about not liking the pricing, especially when people don't know the work put into the art.
What happened to "I'd rather put $250(+) elsewhere" (like maybe the iphone), keeping it to ourselves, and moving on.
Lets ignore that a PS5 is not a gendered product as girls and boys can both play it.
So this video is complaining that the dad has to spend less money on a plushie, instead of getting a expensive PS5.
Makes sense no questions asked
I'm glad we are choosing to listen to people who have 0 idea abt the amt of work put into animation instead of animators themselves.
Instead we complain because we don't like the price.
Me he metido al perfil de varios que defienden el precio por diversión y resulta que el 100% de los que vi eran animadores diciendo que el precio estaba bien. No pos claro, mecánico no le tira a mecánico.
