@omgsidewalks This is a simplified take of a complex problem. Installing DCs does not equal grid upgrades. The infrastructure is NOT being upgraded to the pace of the data centers. Google "interconnection queue". https://t.co/nInVZd9iTa
@danfaggella These conversations will always be misdirected until we think of ourselves as being made of multiple minds. How do we know our stomach isn't having its own subjective experience?
This @drmichaellevin talk should be a mandatory watch. It worries me that people claiming AGI or consciousness in AI are using an outdated mental model. Turns out, "sentience" lives on a very broad spectrum of possibilities. Not a binary truth.

A hard truth most people don't want to admit: Office jobs using computers have long been on the chopping block. In ~2010 I did an internship at a corporate office and was running circles around the staff with basic Excel skills and copy-pasting.. So of course AI is scary.
@ashebytes I think it stems from the Big's terrible messaging. But I agree that there are so many positives. How can we be afraid of advanced problem solving!
@ashleymayer 100%, it's honestly ridiculous. This makes me think they rely heavily on prosumer users. No series company wants to deal with this nonsense imho.
@Jakob_Wahlberg I personally don't think we can separate somatic signals from higher order thinking. I'm partial to the idea that the body keeps the score. To quiet the mind is simply accepting it all and lessening the information differential between expectations and reality in the brain.
@hubermanlab@foundmyfitness Hard disagree. Night snacks are THE BEST. People have been eating then sleeping since the dawn of time. Enjoy your life, food tastes good. You can still live a healthy and energetic life and eat before you sleep...
