@PolandHockey @4000AndCounting I looked at French specifically and I think there are a couple of reasons
1) minimum of 10 home grown players, as opposed to a maximum of 15 imports like EIHL - that means coach recruitment starts at home
2) EIHL has stricter home grown criteria, probably minimal impact tho

@leebeighton Looking at it other leagues have the opposite of an import limit - minimum number of home grown players per game. It’s subtle but would change recruitment mindset
