It’s been 62 days without my brother. Not a single solid lead from the police . The waiting hurts more each day but I refuse to give up and lose hope .
I strongly believe that if travel was much more accessible to Nigerians, they will demand better accountability from the people who govern.
I’ve been to places much more “poorer” than we are with way better public infrastructure.
Building Netflix taught me that your first idea is rarely your best idea.
We started mailing DVDs, not streaming movies.
Stay married to the problem you’re solving, not the solution you THINK will solve it.
Nigeria is a country where you buy your own local currency in the name of POS.
In a functioning economy, the only reason you would have the need to buy a local currency is for dark purposes.
There is POS everywhere in Nigeria, instead of asking the question, “Why are POS vendors in existence in the first place?” the only solution our sharp tech bros can think of is build app to tap from the opportunity, while the rest will complain that POS people are wicked with their charges.
It doesn’t occur to you that there’s a reason why banks don’t care to fund, spread or maintain their ATM centers.
Make una still deceive una selves. When you are ready, you would admit that this economy needs fixing, and it’s not by packaging and fake values.
No ex-Muslim, myself included, believes they were praying to the same God in Islam as they do now in Christ. You can say all you want that we reject that idea because of “bitterness” or some kind of deep seated hostility toward Islam. But that’s just an easy excuse to avoid the real issue. Those of us who left Islam for Christ don’t believe we just got a few theological details wrong during those spiritually “al-zutted” days (🙂). We came to see the truth: we were worshiping an imposter!
Muslims and Christians do NOT worship the same God.
I don't care who argues they do.
The Islamic Allah is fundamentally different from God in Christianity. He is of a different origin, has totally different morals, and is ignorant about the God of the Bible and his words.
PO ran for president — his brother’s business was demolished.
A corper spoke — NYSC extended.
A student criticized Seyi — charged with incitement.
A nurse sang against Remi — failed her exams.
Stay silent now, but do not cry when your turn comes. Because it will.
