Labour is taking action on tackling antisemitism in the NHS.
We're pleased that the government has accepted the recommendations set out by Lord Mann in his report on antisemitism in our National Health Service.
We welcome the Government’s acceptance of Lord Mann’s recommendations and the clear recognition that antisemitism must be addressed urgently across the NHS.
Meta Ramsay was a public servant of immense intelligence, principle and bravery. She was a loyal and dedicated friend of Israel and the Jewish community and a fierce opponent of antisemitism.
LFI benefitted hugely from Meta’s longstanding and distinguished work as our chair in the House of Lords. We will miss her greatly.
A toast to you, Meta.

🎥 WATCH: Security minister @DanJarvisMBE outlines the legislation to tackle hostile state threats such as the IRGC will be fast-tracked and brought forward in the near future in response to a question from @DavidPintoD
Stand with British Jews today at 1PM outside Downing Street.
Entrance only via Trafalgar Square end of Whitehall of Whitehall Place. No bags permitted. Searches in place.
The PM is absolutely right to say we need stronger powers to tackle the malign threat posed by states like Iran because “we know for a fact that they want to harm British Jews.”
I welcome his announcement that this legislation will be fast-tracked.

So what have we been left with but series of attacks on British Jews and now a nervous and threatened minority community.
We call on those in trade union leaderships to support our position and play their part in stopping the 'globalise the intifada' radicalisation.
After yesterday's dreadful terrorist attack on the Jewish community in London we offer our support and call for action to protect everyone in the British Jewish community.
We @_BITUD have since October 7th 2023 attacks asked for respect and sensitivity with Gaza protesting.🧵
Our statements have outlined this clearly asking for demonstrations to be carried out in a "sensitive and peaceful way".
Even this ask has been met with hostility at the TUC Congress. Our statement quite rightly asked for a toning down and a call to stop incitement.
WATCH: LFI honorary chair @MarkJSewards on @TimesRadio on the three actions the government must take to counter antisemitism:
1️⃣Proscribe the IRGC
2️⃣Ensure the ‘Protecting What Matters’ strategy is fully implemented
3️⃣Acknowledge anti-Zionist antisemitism for the problem it is
Sending our thoughts to all those affected by the antisemitic attack in Golders Green.
Violence and extremism have no place on our streets or in our society.
