The letter calls for *all* Israeli nationals to be subjected to extra screening and *all* British/Israeli dual nationals to be monitored. It goes much further than investigating individuals accused of crimes - it’s a call for discrimination against an entire nationality.
Jewish staff in the NHS feel ostracised...Jewish patients feels discriminated against. These are the finding of Lord Mann's review on antisemitism. Astonishing that our 'national treasure' should be infected with such an appalling virus. There should be no place for racist staff.
I am a British Sikh MP.
Like you, I was horrified by Henry Nowak’s death. I utterly condemn his murderer.
Like you, I have been moved by the grace of his family.
Like you, I was appalled by Farage and Robinson seeking to divide us in anger.
From here, there are two paths that our country can take.
The first path is embodied by Farage and Robinson. They seek to pit White Brits against non-White Brits. Through crypto-funded, tech-fuelled hate, they try to drive a wedge through our communities.
The second is embodied by Henry Nowak’s father, Mark. A path of national unity and grace. Our nation stood together as one people to defeat fascism, and today our different communities come together to mourn Henry Nowak.
The path we choose will define us as a nation. I choose the path that is true to our historic values summed up by this eternal truth:
Together we will meet this moment, divided we won’t.

Barely a month ago this man was imprisoned for the violent rape of a Sikh woman believing that she was a Muslim. No Douglas Murray articles in the Spectator, no Baroness Fox speech in the Lords. No riots. Two tier? Too right https://t.co/8wABWe3bww
"We are grateful to Lord Mann for this review and welcome both his proposed changes and the government's commitment to implement them."

Former victims minister @AlexDaviesJones has just given a powerful speech in parliament explaining why she resigned.
She said she and @jessphillips - sitting next to her - were "ignored, sidelined, or dismissed" in government when calling for action to protect women and children.
This passage sums it up:
"While significant effort appears to have gone into cultivating relationships with influential figures in the tech world, victims were left feeling unheard and overlooked. That is the wrong way round.
"I sought to use my position in government to advocate for victims. But when you are forced to fight tooth and nail simply to have those voices heard, something is not working as it should. That is why I took the difficult but necessary decision to resign."
If you care about the murder and pointless death of Harry Nowak and put it above your own performative outrage remember the words of his dad
‘’We do not want his death used to create further division, hatred, or tension
We want his story to make our streets safer for everyone"
If you click UNISON's link, it says:
"Whilst the government has said this guidance is not intended for workplaces, we anticipate many employers will look to this guidance as the standard to apply in many workplaces."
UNISON are obviously right.
@ZiaYusufUK What is wrong with you?
Black men are at significantly higher risk of prostate cancer. This isn’t “two-tier Britain”. It’s basic medicine.
The programme will save lives and the NHS money. That’s great news.
Stop rage-farming and log off for a day. It might do you some good. 👍
Alongside colleagues, I have tabled a motion to disapprove the Equality Act 2010: Draft Code of Practice for Services, public functions and associations. We cannot support it, and we have a responsibility to our trans constituents to resist it.
This motion is currently the only available mechanism through which Parliament can reject the EHRC’s Code of Practice; if it is debated and passed within the 40-day scrutiny window, it would prevent the Code from being issued by the EHRC and coming into force.
Please email your MP asking them to sign EDM 240.
The Code will exclude trans people from services and facilities that they have long used without issue, putting them at increased risk of harassment and violence, and effectively pushing them out of public life.
It ushers in an era of enforced segregation for trans people, the policing of which will be outsourced to service providers, including businesses, charities and public bodies.
In the statement to the House of Commons yesterday, the Minister even suggested that where members of the public are unsure of someone’s gender within a single-sex facility, “most people will have the common sense to step in where necessary or, if they are concerned, to alert a member of staff.”
Meanwhile, this guidance does not give clarity and confidence to organisations that want to be trans-inclusive. Its impact also extends beyond the rights of trans people. The government’s own Equality Impact Assessment warns that “women who are considered masculine may face greater scrutiny” and that disabled people could face adverse impacts.
The Code represents a profound rollback of rights, which will affect trans people directly and erode the principles of inclusion, dignity and equality upon which all our rights depend.
This guidance must not become statutory; the government should withdraw it and instead legislate to clarify and protect trans people’s rights, privacy and inclusion.

The UK government has sanctioned two Israeli ministers, indicated it will arrest Netanyahu if he lands on British soil, restricted arms sales to Israel and recognised the State of Palestine. The decision to deny visa access over antisemitism was made by a Muslim Home Secretary.
Make no mistake about the nature of “5Pillars.”
Their values are incompatible with liberal democracy and their attack on the Mayor of London is another reminder of that.
