One year ago, football lost Diogo Jota and his brother Andre. The special memories Diogo made in the Premier League and Portuguese football will forever be cherished by the millions of fans around the world he inspired.
Cant sugarcoat it, thats really bad from us. Had the player fully sold on the pathway. Made an initial and expected lower bid and expected Leicester to fold and not go to a tribunal because we wanted a fair price. Everyone involved expected it to get done. Enzo knows Monga / City have come in late and strong.
Arsenal also monitoring Saliba’s back condition and he could potentially need a minor procedure of some sort. Nothing decided yet.
Deschamps’ move of Olise to 10 & Dembélé to RW has been genius. Gets his best passer Olise in position to feed 2 runners from different angles in Barcola & Mbappé. Olise also very capable of getting shots centrally.Dembélé two-footedness + speed gets better separation from wide.
Not all #8’s have the same function.
Julian Alvarez doesn’t play it like Declan Rice, does he?
Martinelli is more Alvarez than Rice.
Food for thought, Mikel.
This is the part of my teenage and early adult years that I am so glad I did not miss.
I will never tell my sons to just go to school, study and graduate with the best grades.
No sir.
Make memories, make mistakes, woo so many girls and have a lot of sex, fall in love if you have to and experience you heart break for character development, get drunk, enjoy football, travel and experience new places, take risks, be foolish sometimes and act your age, etc.
Just make sure you are doing it with your head. If you graduate with a 3rd class or 2nd class, that is still not so bad.
Just live life son coz you can never go back to being a teenager once you grow past that stage.
At the end of the day, experiences and memories are all we have left so make great ones.
