We have already done a complete year of internship and handled patients in our parent university, we are ready to learn Indian methods by doing 1 year of internship, we're saying no to 2-3 years

@NidhiTanejaa This is the norm everywhere, it's not being followed and even Indian medical graduates had to go online for a span of few months, who why aren't they given extended internships, why only FMGs, they are treating us partially even after clearing FMG exam.

@NidhiTanejaa Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who studied abroad are being unfairly treated by the NMC's new rules. Despite passing tough exams and completing internships, we are now being asked to do 2-3 years of extra internships just because we had to study online during COVID-19.

Kindly keep a broad mind and think rationally.FMGs are fighting for their rights.We were not given internship seats without any evaluation, there was a proper and a very tough exam which each one of us qualified and proved our competency.

FMGE should be treated at par with National exams! Make the qualifying exam as difficult as you want, assess the FMG thoroughly for medical knowledge, clinical application etc. But once someone clears the FMGE, they should be treated at par with National Graduates. This is a norm everywhere in the world. No sense in increasing internships and providing lesser paid opportunities and creating a divide.
