@ArfinNathaniel@TDotResident It never ceases to amaze me how complicated we need to make our legislation over such simple things funding for school supplies.
Greg MacEachern on "elbows up" confusing conservatives: Elbows up is about defending yourself ... throwing an elbow is a little bit different — and that has not been our style.
@MaritStiles This is a weak argument.
They are being taxed because someone is providing a service for them. (Preparing the food)
How far are you willing to go to remove sales taxes on services provided?
I don’t think you understand the well this opens.
“ we demand hezbollah cease attacks”
Vs
“ we urge Israel to respect international law”
Such a pathetic double standard from my government
@AnitaAnandMP@MarkJCarney
Israel is terrorizing the region.
Sanctions. Divest. Condemn.
Call this bullsh*t out.
Do something of substance
@CheriDiNovo@AndreaGrebenc “Folks, because of liberal mismanagement over 10 years ago, and totally not to do with my parties mismanagement over the last 8 years, everyone (except me and my caucus) must return to the office at least 4 days a week.”
Doug Ford: ‘Teachers are lazy! It’s insane that they get 2 months off during the summer!’
Also Doug Ford: ‘There’s nothing wrong with us getting a 3 month winter vacation and a 5 month vacation over summer! We work so hard!’
@ONEduTracker The govt that is unnecessarily forcing parents back to offices is set to low ball those responsible for caring for their kids during the days when they are forced to go back into the office, because of that same govt.
While also not funding supplemental child care.
Wait and c
I hope they shut this province down with a strike the 3rd day of classes.
Make it last weeks. Force the government to acknowledge that it is not them that makes this province run. Workers do.
And they have sh*t on us for 8 years and counting
@ArfinNathaniel Halting the legislature this year has resulted in my transit body having to postpone expansion and service improvements, delaying full time jobs.
The teachers have the collective to lead, we can follow the assignment from there
@sarobertson_ Full time jobs have been postponed in my region because this provincial government won’t sit and legislate any investment in transit outside of Toronto.
It’s all empty promises so @fordnation can have another giant sign made by his family company
@ColinDMello Instead of sitting, debating a legislating transit investment, full time jobs will now be postponed in my region cause @fordnation can’t work more than 2 weeks in a row
Pathetic.
I can’t believe I have to say this again, but Canada will never be the 51st state. Canada is not for sale.
While I’m at it, here’s the truth: in April, Ontario created 680 per cent more jobs than the U.S., adjusted for population. That’s how we protect Ontario.
If we are going to call the cost of public services a “loss,” then Canadian police forces lost $20 billion last year while delivering no birthday presents and also killing a lot of people.
