this is by far the most rigged officiating in the World Cup history.
Croatia was robbed in plain sight, not once but TWICE, ruling two goals due to offside that wasn’t there. even with VAR we still have this level of corruption.
FIFA is doing everything to keep Portugal and Ronaldo for the advertising money, and killing football itself in the way.
I’m sick to my stomach.
The only player I truly felt sorry for in today’s Portugal vs. Croatia game was Luka Modrić.
Imagine playing the last World Cup of your career, your team completely outplaying Portugal, creating chance after chance, while you’re still solving difficult situations in midfield at 40 years old.
Then imagine Portugal scoring the winner in the 94th minute, and Croatia scoring twice afterward… only for both goals to be ruled out, including one in the 103rd minute because the ball barely touched a Croatian player’s hair.
The two pictures say it all.
In the first, Modrić looks heartbroken after Portugal scored in the 94th minute. That’s football—it happens.
In the second, after Croatia’s last-second equalizer was ruled out, he was so shocked that he just started laughing like a madman.
Modrić experienced one of the cruelest possible endings to an international career.
The only comfort is that he finished his international journey as the winner of the World Cup Best Player award, a recognition he fully deserved.
Farewell, Luka Modrić. ❤️
I will never accept this as a penalty. I don't care what anyone has to say.
Camara wasn't going for anyone's leg; he was stretching for the ball, and Tielemans wasn't going to get to the ball and smartly planted his foot in front of Camara.
If Camara had stopped him from scoring, that's understandable, but he didn't. Both of them missed the ball.
Refs should stop giving forwards penalties for deliberately planting their foot for contact, especially when they aren't close to the ball.

I just saw this with my own eyes in Louisiana.
Drinking water that looks like coffee and smells like bleach.
To those advocating a fast data center build out in America: how is this remotely ok?!?
Big AI can just ruin the drinking water to make data centers?!
Would you accept that in your neighborhood?!
No, no you would not.
it’s still fairly early in the year but this Svitolina’s win mught go down as the best title run of 2026.
UNREAL effort beating No.2, No. 3, No. 4 in a row all in three sets. And the break point saves?! Got to give it up!
