Hey I will be running the Great North Run (a half marathon) in September and am fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK. Check out my @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/fPG2Sn87de
Boris needs to wake up if he thinks keeping school open and not cancelling exams is going to improve our mental health 🤦🏻♀️ #alevels2021#CloseAllSchools#COVID19
@harriieettt @agjxcv @_abbietrueman That’s so annoying. My sixthform is probably worse because it’s attached to a school and 12 year olds don’t know how to social distance 😭😭
@harriieettt @agjxcv @_abbietrueman I think one of the main disadvantages that I faced while home learning was that I take English and couldn’t discuss ideas when the class was asked to come up with interpretations in pairs.
@harriieettt @agjxcv @_abbietrueman Yes, it still wasn’t anywhere near as good as being in school. Therefore keeping schools open and having students isolate created disparities in learning.
@harriieettt @agjxcv @_abbietrueman Yes I know that online learning doesn’t work anywhere near as good as face to face, but for me personally that stresses me out because we have exams in a few months. I’ve already had to isolate twice which means some students get high quality learning while others get low quality
@harriieettt @agjxcv @_abbietrueman I don’t think being in school is safe, yes I’d much rather have face to face lessons than online but that’s selfish, people are literally dying because covid is spreading in schools. Online learning needs to take place but that isn’t adequate to sit exams.
