So many great things can be said about @RepStenyHoyer. Great man, great leader, great champion, and great boss—to name a few. The Hill (and this country) will miss him so so so dearly. He’s a giant and deserves the highest of praise. Grateful to be a #ProudHoyerAlum
Hoyer sat at the center of House Dem politics from the mid-1980s on, both serving as a rival to and partner with @SpeakerPelosi since they met in a Senate office in the '60s.
ACA, TARP, covid relief. he helped pass it all.

I was grateful to cross that bridge again this past weekend with @FaithandPolitic.
Together, we honored the legacy of John Lewis and other civil rights leaders as we recommitted to building the Beloved Community John worked so hard for.
59 years ago today, civil rights activists - including my brother John Lewis - were savagely beaten while marching for their right to vote on what is now known as Bloody Sunday.
John never bore resentment and I was honored to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge with him 15 times.
There’s nothing I love more than strengthening our national security and creating good-paying jobs in #MD05.
That’s why the FBI HQ in Greenbelt, Maryland will always be my valentine.
Today marks two years since @POTUS signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Already, Americans are benefiting from affordable high-speed internet, lower health care costs, and thousands of good-paying jobs!
And we're just getting started 💪
I'm so proud to join #TeamMaryland in welcoming the new FBI HQ to Prince George’s County.
14 years ago the FBI Director came into my office & said: we need a new FBI building.
This is a victory for Maryland & for the extraordinary people of the FBI who keep our country safe.
