The output of my last ~1.5 hours is two slack comments, and the writing was inseparable from the thinking.

I couldn't have just thought a bit and then fired off a response. Writing the response was a hook to really think through the thing at hand. The neat thing is that at the end of this little ad hoc design process, I now also have a very thoughtful response.
