After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like. https://t.co/uts7JpJZzN
Bands don’t succeed. Just statistically. So after the surprise indie success of our album Take This To Your Grave, I was sure there was no way but down from there. I was certain we couldn’t possibly match the success we’d had with that album. So I barely bothered considering it as a possibility, I just went in to write and record an album I enjoyed. I told my parents “I swear, just one more semester off and then I’ll go to college.” When “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” premiered on MTV’s TRL I could tell that I probably wasn’t going to make it to college after all.
Happy 20th anniversary to From Under The Cork Tree, the album that changed everything. You turned it into something so much bigger than us, and for that we’re forever grateful.
We’re working on some cool things to keep the celebration going later this year, but more on that later. Here’s to the next chapter 🌳🖤.

A long time ago, I was auditioning for the movie “The Doors” It was kind of a cattle call. They paired together potential Jims with potential Pamela‘s. And they were running behind so we were spilling out of the casting office, sitting on the porch, the lawn, and the driveway.
All of a sudden, a sixties convertible came screeching up, blaring Doors Music at top volume. And a guy jumped out and strode inside: He had wild hair and he was barefoot, shirtless, and wearing nothing but a pair of tight leather pants.
We all looked at each other like… Who is this guy? We were more than a little shook by the sheer audacity of his entrance. Well of course it was Val Kilmer and from that minute on, nobody else stood a chance.

Armie Hammer reveals he tried hooking up with a man through Grindr because 'gay dudes have it so easy’ and ‘women are the worst’:
“I tried hooking up with a dude one time. It was hilarious... Because I was like, you know what? Like, women are the worst. Gay dudes seem to have it so easy. Like, so easy. I'm at a restaurant, my phone blows up, and it's, like, Grindr, and someone else is like, 'I'm at the same restaurant. Do you want a b****** in the bathroom?' And you're like, 'Hey, guys. I'll be back in five minutes.’ Okay, this could work. This could work. Yeah. Let’s try this.' I remember I started making out with him, and I just remember being like, God! Beards! Oh I get why women like it when you shave! Like, this thing is f****** rough. Like, how do I get in there? I put my arms around him and I was like, ‘Oh my God! And these shoulders are so wide! He’s so big! He’s almost my height. Like, this is so strange.' It did physically for me absolutely nothing. Nothing, like, not even a twitch. He reached for my d*** and I responded, ‘You’re not going to touch my flaccid p****. Like, this is not going to happen.’”
