@RutgersAltRoute A1: The biggest challenge I have encountered when creating inclusive environment is having a rigorous curriculum that doesn’t allow for a lot of modifications or doesn’t reteach foundational skills that my students don’t have. #TeacherEd

@RutgersAltRoute A4: We can teach students the difference between upstanders and bystanders. Teaching them safe strategies to such as reporting and offering support. We can also foster a culture of kindness in classroom and schools settings. #TeacherEd #SafeSchools

@RutgersAltRoute A3: When students need support, the best way that I can help them is by listening to their problems and then offering advice on how to help. I also try to help resolve any conflict between students. If I am unable to help I guide them to the person that can. #SafeSchools

@bhcht198203 @RutgersAltRoute I love ClassDojo! It is the main platform I use to keep in contact with parents and post announcements. I find it easier to use than emailing.

@RutgersAltRoute A4: I use technology to keep families informed and engaged through regular updates, messages, and reminders on platforms like Google Classroom, email, and Classdojo. It helps build consistent communication and support at home. #TeacherEd #EdTech

@pge3_d @RutgersAltRoute That is a valid point, I allow my students to use AI to a certain extent but some students over use it and then I cant assess what they have learned.

@tristandl1992 @RutgersAltRoute I am having the same challenges. I am an ELA teacher for 5th grade and my students are unable to complete a writing prompt without having to use AI either to write it for them or help them with spelling and grammar mistakes.

@RutgersAltRoute A3. As an ELA teacher, I notice students relying on AI to much. They are unable to complete assignments such as writing piece without some sort of AI tool. I also find them not being able to formulate ideas or topics for writing without AI. #TeacherEd #EdTech

@RutgersAltRoute A2. AI has has become a game changer for lesson planning, differentiation, and giving students feedback. AI helps me save time on tasks so that I am able to focus on instructional time. For students AI has helped them come up with ideas for writing and has helped my ML learners

@ed_shirin @RutgersAltRoute I love Kahoot & Blooket. I have never heard of Pear but will look into it. I utilize those platforms for review and refreshing skills in class.

@RutgersAltRoute A1. I use platforms like Nearpod, Google Classroom, Canva and Magic AI to create individual learning experiences for my students. My students are encouraged to use technology to help them with research and they use platforms like IXL & Freckle to build their skills #TeacherEd
