@CreamLunar @LilithLovett I've been using @GOGcom as my main platform for 15 or so years, and if I'm not mistaken, you can also leave your collection to your kids. You don't lose them as you would a licence on other digital platforms.

Just to clear confusion, I see a lot of people saying "oh Sony is just trying to save money by cutting physical releases".

No they are not, they are actually willing to cut down a good chunk of income to create full market control.

If physical games were a loss leader there would have been something completely wrong with the production and distribution of video games and gaming wouldn't be as big as it was today.

Financially speaking this done to increase prices down the road, lock people into an eco system and make people dependent on their platform by creating sunk-cost fallacy. All your eggs in one basket. Because once you spend 1000's of dollars into your account. Its going to be really hard to just give it up. Because you can't just go out and sell your collection on ebay.

But yeah tell me again why this is supposed to be good for you as a customer. You are willingly becoming the products and you don't even realize it.

@LilithLovett For my PC I want digital copies, and I use @GOGcom because of DRM free policy.
For my console I want a physical collection, because without it, a console is just a shittier PC.
I cancelled PS+ last year. Suffice to say I'm not interested in PS6 at all.
