Key nugget from the March jobs report gain of 236K, according to Glassdoor Lead Economist @DanielBZhao, the Black unemployment rate fell to 5%, a record low based on 50-year old records.
Overall participation is still well below its prepandemic peak, of course. But that's almost entirely about the aging population. Adjusting for demographics, participation is pretty much back to where it began, and employment is all the way back.
