It's nice that a press outlet spoke about the GrapheneOS drama in an objectively fair way. It's about the fairest shake my side has been given since 2018 and I appreciate that.

There’s a lot of love all over the world for GrapheneOS, the gold standard of mobile security. There’s very little love between the two guys at the center of its history. https://t.co/3Qc308kU33
Anyone who has been paying attention in Canada for the last decade should not be surprised about bill C-22. If not this bill, then another one will come eventually.

@The_HatedOne_ your latest GrapheneOS video is really unfortunate. I would have preferred you have approached me about the claims in both the article and in your video. Feel free to DM me to clear this up.
@So_Uncivil1zed@GrapheneOS@DesignGears@TheDesertLynx@nikitabier Copperhead had received and actioned GPL requests from various customers who were granted source access to review license compliance. We were never uncompliant in production with our licenses.
@So_Uncivil1zed@GrapheneOS@DesignGears@TheDesertLynx@nikitabier There was never a violation of any license related to using GOS as a base. GOS would know this is if it actually approached us about the copyright on the source, but of course, it didn't. So much for "open-source" when you stop people you don't like from using it.
@So_Uncivil1zed@GrapheneOS@DesignGears@TheDesertLynx@nikitabier Not only that, Copperhead had to stop operating because GrapheneOS as a community and a project relentlessly attacked us and our partners, including from the GOS account. Unbecoming for a "non-profit", but not shocking when you understand the history of the people behind it.
@jonaharagon hey pal just wondering has @privacy_guides (sucks about the name squatting but TELL me how I know how it feels) moved to vibe writing yet?
