Surely @ofgem it’s time for a mandatory/automated process for residential SEG switching. 5 days to switch electricity import but 2months+ to switch electricity export to the same supplier is just not good enough. It’s the same smart meter readings come from!!

@hawkhampshire And not forgetting the current T20 WC where semi finals and final timing amended to fit India TV requirements (after the tickets were sold) and they didn’t even get out of the group phases.
Still confused me that UK home owners with large PV array but small battery capacity (or even no storage capacity) don’t want to get paid to export to the grid and prefer to give their energy away for nothing 🤷
@Ed_Miliband or anybody from @ofgem know what the answer to the question to Martin ie what should be happen with customers on existing fixed gas tariff standing charges come 1st April ? Should they be reducing in line with the standing charges on the price cap ?
@MartinSLewis can I please clarify that for those on existing fixed gas tariffs should we be seeing reductions in both our standing charge AND unit rates from 1st April as per the eco/ro reductions on both elements of the overall gas bill on the pants cap ?
Communications about the IOG changes coming in January is so poor that @OctopusEnergy can’t even be bothered to inform many of their customer directly on that tariff of the coming change and it has to be heard about through social media #FeelingDevalued#RatnerMoment
@philippac72@OctopusEnergy They are legally required to ensure that ALL customers get the details of any change in tariff and it is now acknowledged that hasn’t happened and they are investigating
@OctopusEnergy Again further evidence like the Ohme, Zappi, Hyoervolt, solar panels, etc owners that you don’t really know the customer experience of your products in the real work but worst you can’t be bothered to inform all your customer of the upcoming changes & that is unacceptable @g__j
