An Air Quality Advisory has been issued for the Bay Area today. Smoke from the Flat Fire, burning in southwestern Oregon, is drifting in from the north. Hazy skies will be visible across parts of the Bay Area today.
Smoke from control burning in several areas of southern Sonoma County Tue - Thurs will be very visible in Marin. On Weds, 100 acres of grass will be burned near Sonoma raceway.
@jesse_squires Might be worth a note that the app _is_ in the same key namespace as any libraries it includes, and so a well-behaved library would take steps to avoid any conflicts.
Quick! While we have the radar up!
Here's the latest from our beloved KMUX who is working so hard this evening and will need to be shut down again soon. As it currently looks, the bulk of this line will stay mostly to our north and west.

Is Apple working on new monitors? https://t.co/zkxZcrmiaV
I’m told Apple is working on multiple next-generation monitors, including a large-screen panel with an iOS device chip and software stack. The idea is that the screen could double as a Mac monitor and a smart home display with a low-power mode. But I don’t believe a launch will occur until next year at the very earliest. Right now, Apple sells two monitors: its 6K Pro Display XDR and 5K Apple Studio Display. The pricier 6K monitor obviously presents far better color and overall quality compared with the consumer-oriented Studio Display, but it lacks some of the newer features like a video camera and an A-Series chip.

After the gifts, Alito voted to overturn. This SCOTUS’ corruption undercuts its own legitimacy by putting its rulings up for sale.
DOJ just released the report from its two-year investigation of the Minneapolis police department.
Here's a thread of notable excerpts.
This first one happened *while a DOJ investigator was on a ride-along.*
