"If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea"
For WWDC, we worked with Apple to run Kimi K2.6, a 1T-parameter model, across a cluster of four Mac Studios using a preview version of LM Studio.
We showcased secure remote access from a MacBook Neo and iPhone using LM Link.
A glimpse of your own private, frontier-scale AI.
This is a very good anecdotal evidence of most SaaS going to 0 value. only “software” he pays is AI rest is renting hardware.
Probably good indicator where we are going
Personally what I see is post-AI, I cut 99% of my SaaS subscriptions and just built free replacements myself
Now I only pay for AI and servers and storage, but now with rising prices I'm paying more for all of those than before
So my business spending is much more concentrated to a few companies who I pay 10x-100x more per company than before
From ~30 companies that I'd pay $100/mo to 3 companies I pay $10K/mo (roughly)

@ivanfioravanti@YogSoth0 Yep but short term you might be able to use hydroelectricity as stopgap. I think Italy is far from using 100% of its installed capacity ( maybe 20% 30%) and there might even smaller hydro power plants that can be bought and us them as behind the meter energy gen
@jackfriks My 2 cents: I think you still would be frugal since you grown up where “scarcity” was the norm. Even when you make 10x more u probably still gona look on every cent spent.
In my view it’s not a bad thing per see but do use the money sometimes to enjoy life with family & friends
ok, gpt image 2 with seedance 2 workflow is quite fun to play around.
full wf: Nomad sculpt (3d clay model) > gpt image 2 (AI render) > seedance 2 (animation - via comfyUi)
@FinnMurphy12 so Berkshire Hathaway has a large part of its portfolio in cash and VCs are out of it.
