If you wanted a look at how unbearably poor English officiating is, not once is the handball of Ings even discussed. They don’t even talk about whether it comes before the knee-to-knee contact. VAR worked really well in 2018 World Cup and then the English and the Premier League got their hands on it, to the point it’s just a mess. They’ve had three different handball rules in as many seasons. Say they’re going to let games flow but then show red cards for dissent. Can’t seem to notice Rodri making foul after foul on the halfway line though. At this juncture the Premier League is living on name alone. Football is drab, players are dull, officiating is the worst it’s been this side of the millennium and there are severe question marks over the legality of most of the last 10 PL seasons. Great job.
