This guide walks you through getting #Urbit running on a #raspberrypi4 with recommended components (like an integrated SATA SSD) and a really nice @argon_forty Argon ONE M.2 case.

Ongoing power outage (water main broke on our street) starting last night, so ~dasfeb and ~dalten are temporarily offline. They'll definitely back online by this evening. Thank you for your patience! #urbit@_dalten
@OneAyeKing@Logo_Daedalus@urbit Unlike Urbit, where you *truly own* your identity and all your content because 1) it's self hosted and 2) you hold the private keys to your identity. Cryptographic ownership for the win.
@OneAyeKing@Logo_Daedalus@urbit Yep, early employee of Linden Lab here. SL was never a "co-owned" platform in terms of property. Users retained IP rights to the content they created, but that's it. Their objects and land were all hosted by LL. Users were renters, not owners.
We're hanging out at the insanely cool intersection of #Ravencoin, #Urbit, #NFT art, @_dasfeb and #virtualworlds. I now have a booth set up in Ravencoin Campus in @VirbelaHQ. Thank you Rikki @RVNFT_ART for setting me up. KAWWWW! Visit at https://t.co/6fG3e2ThVT
@goekhan@urbit Done! Ahoy and welcome to ~dasfeb, and thank you for believing in smol computers. :)

@minderfolden Me too, I use VNC all the time. But I have a generic 15" LCD monitor in the corner that I sometimes plug in to any of the different RPis if I really need to do something local. And I used to have a generic big ugly keyboard and mouse for such purposes too. But no more. ;)
