@Geldy15@MartinSLewis The long term growth on gambling is well under 100%, as that's how they make money. However, payouts are not uniform and you have a SMALL chance of being one of the lucky ones.
With simple savings you always get back more than 100%, at the moment around 4% growth per year.
@Kevin48809197@MartinSLewis Be very careful when doing this as you may be subject to transfer out fees and you need to make sure the plan you are transferring to is the best choice and worth the loss in fees.
Seek proper independant pensions advice.
@MartinSLewis I have successfully used section 75 protection 2-3 times and the same for chargeback (saved me more than £2K in total), and always get between 0.5% and 3% on card transactions. So I haven't used cash unless I have to for several years.
@PaulMor89287936@MartinSLewis Agreed about the use of time and travel costs but I checked 3 banks and their cash charges are significantly less than card transactions. Time and travel are obviously less significant the less often you go.
Cards may be better for business as customers tend to spend more.

@O2 Really disappointed with the misleading Taste card offer. Advert is full of errors, e.g. you CAN'T chose a start date and you MUST enter payment details.
@MartinSLewis NEVER in 12 years never mind 12 months. And before that, only when it was interest and fee free. Otherwise, it's a very expensive way to borrow money.
@MartinSLewis@masterplanpart1 I have also tried without success to get in touch. It was about incorrect information on one of your TV shows that could have led to wrong decisions.
I totally understand you don't help individuals but this may have helped many people. I would have thought you'd want to know?
@MartinSLewis I think you may have made a little boo boo in your show about claiming NI credits for the state pension.
You said that the government forecast is "done predicated that you are going to keep working". As far as I can tell it isn't unless it states so.
@tawni_k@drpatrick I had the very same thoughts myself. Who is most likely to get PVS? Obviously those not in a risk group should be less concerned so we need to know?
And as you pointed out, virus reactivation has many causes. I would like to know if Covid vax is typical or worse in this respect?
@MartinSLewis Listened to the podcast about car insurance, nothing new for me that I haven't been doing for 20+ years.
I must warn that cancelling can be a bad idea as the amount you get back is often much lower than expected (ask them first) and DON'T FORGET you could be losing a year bonus.
@Blond3bra1ny@MartinSLewis As you have pointed out, you are transacting with PayPal who then transact with the merchant. This can break chargeback and Section 75, though some have success in certain circumstances. If you want these protections rather than PayPa'ls own then you are best not to use them.
