@NilsBabcock73 If your faith is only in Jesus you would only need his word which is the Bible.
The Bible does not need the Book of Mormon.
You don’t believe in the Bible because you believe it needs the Book of Mormon.
This is the beginning of an unquantifiable belief system.
@aqueous_stars@itsforourday Mormon jesus. Not biblical Jesus. You think this is a got ya moment, it’s not what you think it is.
It’s why no one outside your church views Mormons as Christian’s.
Even with jesus in your churches name you’re all so prideful in man you are known only first for Joesph Smith
I’ll keep the Mormons in my prayers tonight “to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’” Acts 26:18
@NilsBabcock73 No I can’t help but to go in circles when everything you believe can not be quantified. It is the ever changing gospel of Joseph Smith. You shift everything. Even calling you a Mormom/Mormonism is wrong in your eyes. But your faith is in the Book of Mormon.
@swim_swim_fish Interesting insight, thanks for taking the time to type it out.
But not sure why following Protestants direction would be the correct move in the first place. Very RLDS, Emma approved. But it also shows huge differences and disconnect between LDS and Christian’s.
@MBased65380 Religion Jesus taught against. And the life teachings of Jesus are worthless with out crucifix ruin and resection of Jesus. The Bible isn’t always approachable because the truth is tough.
@ibnDeseretii@TheStevenNelson Never stated that. Just that Mormons are afraid on crosses, which is odd. Maybe they are vampires ?
Your whole church is build on heavy lifting.
Hence why in the past 10 years you are now grasping to be called Christian’s.
@Primary_Pianist@itsforourday What ?
Mormons are not Christians. Hence why you are known as Mormons and follow the Book of Mormon.
That’s why you don’t have crosses like Christian church’s.
@ibnDeseretii@TheStevenNelson Cross in the metaphorical sense. In that context However apostles who knew Jesus were crucified and probably carried their own crosses to their crucifixions.
@TAlanHorne I don’t pay for Twitter so
I will have to make a thread to respond to this. Probably tomorrow
But these verses are wildly out of context. People in the Old Testament had a different relationship and didn’t need Jesus because they have direct access to God through priesthood.
@NilsBabcock73 Circular conversation Main point Your church will never be Christian Hope you find the real Jesus and meaning of the cross
If I die and I am wrong, I still go to your heaven, If you die and you are wrong you will be denied eternal life in the biblical heaven, an eternity in hell
@NilsBabcock73 So if Mormon was an anchient prophet. What is wrong with calling your believe Mormonism ?
All of those theologies become very subjective I hope you know that. That’s why the world will continue to separate Christian’s from your church.
@TAlanHorne With respect, this is where we start to disagree. Biblically the only way to salvation is through Jesus.
And that once one’s soul has been damned to hell there is no shot at salvation.
Once you die you don’t get another chance.
Why do the Mormons block me after responding. That’s 2 times today. Don’t you want a discussion ? I guess it’s a waste of time since you believe we are both Christian’s …
