Booked tickets together, but your family gets seats in different coaches. What do you do?
Ask strangers to swap? Hope someone agrees?
When 13-year-old Shireen Kalra’s family faced exactly this problem, she had another question: “Why don't we have a digital platform to fix this?”
That question became CoSeat, a platform she co-built to help train passengers find willing co-passengers and coordinate seat swaps before boarding.
Verify your PNR, choose your goal, such as sitting with family or getting a lower berth, and find someone willing to swap.
One frustrating train journey sparked an idea. A 13-year-old helped turn it into a platform.

A beautiful elephant family sleeps deep inside the Anamalai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu, an extraordinary moment captured on camera. The young one gently rests its leg on an elder, seeking comfort, security and love. In the world of elephants, family is everything. And around them stands the forest silent, protective, eternal like a cradle holding life itself. On this International Day of Forests, this tender scene reminds us of a simple truth: if forests do not exist, nothing will remain. Nothing at all. Without forests, the world would be poorer, harsher, emptier. For elephants, for wildlife, for rivers, for people forests are life

Paid ₹2000 for a confirmed 3AC ticket , and still had to make my children sit in my lap for 5 straight hours.
Yes, this is the reality of “confirmed” travel.
A passenger travelling on Paschim Express shared his ordeal on Reddit, exposing the ground reality of premium train travel. Despite holding a valid confirmed ticket, he was denied basic seating comfort and forced to struggle through the journey with kids in his arms.
So what exactly are passengers paying for? Overcrowding, mismanagement, and zero accountability?
When even confirmed ticket holders aren’t guaranteed their rightful seats, it raises serious questions about the system’s efficiency and passenger safety.
This isn’t just inconvenience it’s outright negligence.

A research team at IIT Bombay, led by Prof. Sanjeeva Srivastava from the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, in collaboration with researchers from different research institutes in India and abroad, has developed BrainProt v3.0, a database that combines various types of biological data—from genes to proteins—into a single platform to enable systematic insights into human brain function in both healthy and diseased states. This brain-disease data will help researchers find markers, explore treatments and pinpoint druggable targets.

⚠️ The Hidden Danger Inside Your Instant Noodles
That quick bowl of instant noodles might be doing more harm than we realize. A new study warns that eating them just 2–3 times a week can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes — and the reason is quietly sitting inside every packet.
Instant noodles are filled with refined carbs, too much salt, and artificial additives, while offering almost no fiber, protein, or real nutrients. This mix causes sudden spikes in blood sugar and blood pressure, putting pressure on your heart. Over time, these small spikes build up into inflammation, insulin resistance, and rising cholesterol — all major steps toward long-term disease.
Researchers also found something even more unsettling: the packaging. Many instant noodle cups contain BPA, a chemical that can leak into food when heated. BPA can disrupt hormones responsible for metabolism and heart health, adding another hidden risk.
People who ate instant noodles often had higher triglycerides and bigger waistlines, even if they didn’t eat more calories overall. Women were especially affected because of how these additives interact with hormones.
An occasional bowl won’t hurt — but experts say instant noodles should be a rare emergency meal, not a weekly habit. Fresh noodles, whole grains, or homemade bowls with veggies and lean protein give the same comfort without the silent damage.
Your body becomes what you feed it — and the best “instant” reward is health that lasts longer than a 5-minute meal.
