Every job interview ends with Q&A
But most people never ask questions at the end of job interviews
Here are 10 questions I used to get hired at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Citi:
Iraola informed Bournemouth as far back as January that he would be leaving at the end of the season.
Many people wondered why he would want to leave a strong team that he had patiently built. Little did they know that Liverpool had already made contact and assured him of the managerial job once the season ended, as they had grown dissatisfied with Arne Slot.
With Iraola at Liverpool, expect Jürgen Klopp-style intense gegenpressing football. He successfully implemented this at Bournemouth, turning them into a very difficult team to break down.
With significant financial backing at his disposal, I expect him to bring in quality players to strengthen the current squad.
I genuinely see Iraola succeeding at Liverpool. Since he already knows the Premier League well, I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool challenge for — and possibly win — the EPL title next season.
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Van Dijk on Rio Ngumoha
“I really don’t understand why he didn’t get a chance tonight. We desperately needed the energy he showed against Wolves. I’m honestly pretty disappointed.”
