I don’t know the idiot that is supposed to act but something needs to be done about motorbikes with these flashing, glaring lights and light bars all over the place.
Some of these bodabodas are basically moving discos on the road at night... bright strobes, multicolour LEDs, lights facing oncoming traffic and they are blinding drivers.
One second of glare is enough for someone to misjudge distance, drift out of lane or miss a pedestrian.
When an accident happens, we start talking about “bad roads” and “careless drivers”, but nobody wants to talk about the illegal lights that turned the highway into a nightclub.
Remind me again, who is supposed to act here because the idiot should not be in office.

We must talk about Bruce, the Mombasa blogger who was gang-raped. Over the weekend, he revealed 28 of his teeth were removed to force him into dropping the case against the governor. We have failed Bruce. Imagine his pain.
We live in a country where Bruce was raped and it was captured on camera, poisoned and his teeth have forcefully removed. They're killing him slowly in front of our eyes.
How do we ask for justice from the same people who brutalized him?
