@sgeorgebarreto@JournalofGISurg@AndrewFlemingMD Poorer survival for tail tumors is almost certainly due to the late diganosis/absence of symptoms. @AndrewFlemingMD is right though, the most important factor for patients with PDAC is that that receive chemotherapy. Period.
Roland was diagnosed with stomach cancer at age 41 by EGD and his treatment planned has included Chemo, radiation, surgery, and more chemo.
Our thoughts are with Roland as we send hope his way. 💜
