Storytime: I love persistence. I love relentlessness; I wrote a book about it. β₯οΈπ
A few years ago, Coach Dean Paul called when I was already home from speaking at Toledo. He told me he wished he had known that I was gonna be speaking in the area. I promised him if I was ever back in the area, I would give him a call. Fast forward two years, and I scoured my Twitter messages to find his contact information. So early early on Saturday morning, I went to speak to this amazing team, and WOW, did they STEAL MY HEART!
They shared stuff that several said they had never shared before; coaches bared their souls too. I just stood back in shock and awe! I KNOW things that happened in that room that morning will affect them for the REST OF THEIR LIVES! π I know because they texted me afterward to tell me so. They also stood up and asked me brave, raw questions, and I bravely answered.
I know this bravery begets bravery, and it was FLOWING that morning. π₯π
May you be like Coach Paul and be RELENTLESS. Today, may you be like these coaches and players and be BRAVE! π₯π₯
Thank you, Ohio Northern Football. My soul is richer because of you! ππ½
