It’s #FridayReads time! Let’s boost all signals and help put books in front of readers. RT this and let us know what to RT for you. I’m plugging this little monster because it’s 28% off and because I have to impress my new publisher. Share what you love!

The weather is getting cold and I'm loving it. Planning winter and spring adventures and thinking about the back roads traveled this past year make my heart happy.
I'm going to enjoy the last full official day of spooky season even though I know any store I visit today will already be transformed into a red & green glittering wonderland of Christmas consumerism. Spooky season will always be, just as long as we have we. (Thx Dr. Seuss🦇❤️)
Happy Halloween! Today is our day. Keep it dark and spooky. Dance in the woods at midnight. Scare your neighbors. Bathe in blood. Talk to ghosts. Howl at the moon. Transform into something different. Drink from the skulls of your enemies. Give out candy. Have fun. Stay awesome.
Reminder:
Long live horror.
Long live noir.
Long live fantasy.
Long live science fiction.
Long live mystery.
Long live romance.
Long live bizarro.
Long live poetry.
Long live nonfiction.
Long live everything that makes writers happy.
Long live everything that makes readers happy.
I was recently told you can't have spooky season year round and when I responded 'why?' they couldn't come up with a good reason. I'm taking it as a challenge and will be slowly redecorating accordingly.
@TheBloggess Trust me, you're not the only one who has done this. Because my TBR pile is so long I've literally bought 3 copies of a book that looks amazing. I've done this more than once. (Duplicate books make great gifts though!)
We all get depressed
And sometimes feel stressed
For reasons we’re really not sure.
We all have to face
The end of Life’s race
The rich just the same as the poor.
We all get great days
That end in a blaze
And days when we wonder ‘what for?’
@royvlcurves@MichelineMukon1@dameandconfused If I remember right, all the kids & grandkids were left out to force them to make something of themselves rather than rely on family money.
