@Feljin_J In a similar vei, for a Hackathon in work a team were working with the NTA about creating a way that vision impaired people could flag a bus using an app which would talk to a system inside the bus to ring the stopping bell. It might take a while to go anywhere though

@SmallAdds @TheChrisD @DublinCommuters The 19 follows the same route as the 11 except it stops at Parnell square. While it also serves the airport. And it’s more frequent.

Why are you suggesting that home farm isn’t being served?

@merrycygnet @IrishRail They’re doing a bunch of investigation on straightening and speeding up the n24, and the reports justify the work by saying the train is too slow and the bus gets caught in traffic. And I’m like “then improve the train!!” Infuriating

@andy91125 @AprilEngelberg @cselley Seawaymax ships used on the seaway have an above the water max height of 35.5m (116.5ft). So assuming we are designing for that the historic ships would be supported too

This is great news. These changes while slightly water-downed will reduce congestion. Which will mean fewer buses to complete a route’s timetable.
Hopefully this enables faster rollout of more bus connect spines.

Decision by DCC chief executive on Dublin City Transport Plan #DublinTransportPlan first phase will go ahead this August 25th. Working group chaired by Lord Mayor will be set up to monitor.
