@DerekSynnott@CiaranCuffe FFG can delay two shovel‑ready, planning‑approved projects only because the last government did the years of prioritisation and prep. (You know the government with the green Transport Minister.)
@DeclanBurgess You were willing to go to Facebook to get Humphreys statement but couldn’t search in this app for Catherine’s? Instead you screenshotted a “Commentary account”.
Do you understand you are sharing misinformation in this post?
@Its_l0gical@perwal_1@rtenews Fair, but those who used to take the 46a would be able to stay in the E and transfer at Doyle’s corner to the O. So not like north circular will become inaccessible
@Feljin_J In a similar vei, for a Hackathon in work a team were working with the NTA about creating a way that vision impaired people could flag a bus using an app which would talk to a system inside the bus to ring the stopping bell. It might take a while to go anywhere though
@RoryHearneGaffs You're being unfair on yourself you need to claim credit for delaying the rollout of new 24 hour bus routes for Ballymun, Northwood, all the way to Bray. You are going to directly cause people to have to fight for taxis over Christmas.
What is BusConnects? Why is it taking so long? Is it working? And why is the latest round being delayed?
An explainer.

@SmallAdds @TheChrisD@DublinCommuters The 19 follows the same route as the 11 except it stops at Parnell square. While it also serves the airport. And it’s more frequent.
Why are you suggesting that home farm isn’t being served?
Are you just attached to the number 11?
@merrycygnet@IrishRail They’re doing a bunch of investigation on straightening and speeding up the n24, and the reports justify the work by saying the train is too slow and the bus gets caught in traffic. And I’m like “then improve the train!!” Infuriating
@kealycopy@RoryHearneGaffs What journeys on the 17 have you lost that are not served anymore? From what I can see both the S6 and the S4 replace most if not all of the journeys
@TheDivineStein @506510713@nick_dece Sure some sports there may be advantages, but pick a sport like shooting. Looking at this year women scored better than the men in two of the four finals that have finished so far. In the other two they would have come second. Why are they segregated?
@andy91125@AprilEngelberg@cselley Seawaymax ships used on the seaway have an above the water max height of 35.5m (116.5ft). So assuming we are designing for that the historic ships would be supported too
This is great news. These changes while slightly water-downed will reduce congestion. Which will mean fewer buses to complete a route’s timetable.
Hopefully this enables faster rollout of more bus connect spines.
Decision by DCC chief executive on Dublin City Transport Plan #DublinTransportPlan first phase will go ahead this August 25th. Working group chaired by Lord Mayor will be set up to monitor.
@IrishRail@upcycle_ireland First time on the #DART40 to Bray. And I’ll never forget coming out of the tunnel along the coast, sea was calm and the sky was gorgeous. Most beautiful piece of track in the world

But it was the new default limit, but mainly affected urban areas
