We broke every possible social contract for young people, unprecedented wealth transfer from young to old, devalued the currency, made home prices insane, education debt crazy and now for the lulz we're automating all the entry level white collar work. Just incredible
Hard to type bc I'm shaking from reading this. But if anyone wants to be a POS and question the "need" for PRIDE: This. This is why. Two people just living life, hurting nobody, loving each other and being family...murdered at a bigot's whim. Chilling.
Rest in Pride Jonathan.😢

Chatbots are stealing our ability to think and communicate, and image generators are stealing our imaginations, all things that are necessary for any successful resistance movement. A passive, unthinking population, unable to envision better outcomes, will not resist tyranny.
Emma Thomas Jones is a bi+ poet with an MFA from the University of Arkansas who has been published in The Southern Review, The McNeese Review, American Literary Review, and others. Find her on Twitter/X @_ethomasjones.
If your teachers suggest that your poems are sentimental, that is only half of it. Your poems probably need to be even more sentimental. Don’t be less of a flower, but could you be more of a stone at the same time?
—Mary Ruefle, from "On Sentimentality"
five years ago americans were asked to think about the wellbeing of others for a few months and it broke half the populations’ psyche. these are pathetic and weak people

I'm being serious rn no jokes I honestly think sharing pictures of Luigi's full naked body on the internet is really fucked up. what a dehumanizing thing to do to someone to strip them of their autonomy while they're already stripped of their rights
