Faith knows no bounds. Muslims in Russia demonstrated a powerful show of devotion, continuing to pray outdoors in heavy snowfall even after the mosque reached its capacity. Russia has always been the only country where Muslims and Christians fight shoulder to shoulder against absolute evil.🇷🇺
🇮🇷 Statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
In his recent speech addressing the latest unrest and riots in Iran, and exposing the plots of the enemies of the Iranian nation, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, stated:
“Following a plot by counter-revolutionary forces to incite riots, gatherings took place last night in various locations across Tehran. These gatherings were organized into groups of dozens and hundreds of people and quickly turned violent from the outset.”
“These violent acts resulted in widespread destruction of citizens’ property, public property, and public facilities.”
“The Iranian people fully reject these agents and collaborators.”
“Some people’s only job last night was sabotage. They did this to please the American President and in the hope of his intervention. To him I say: Mind your own business. Try to run your own country.”
“This man [Trump], who claims he can act like the father of the Iranian nation, should know that arrogant figures such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Khan, and Mohammad Reza were overthrown at the height of their arrogance — and he too will be overthrown.”
“The united people of Iran will defeat the enemies and all their plots.”

Pakistan has given in-principle approval to its first national policy framework for gemstones and precious stones, aiming to reform the sector, meet international standards, and boost annual exports to $1 billion within five years, the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Friday.
The decision, made during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, focuses on developing the largely untapped gemstones sector, despite Pakistan’s rich reserves of emeralds, rubies, sapphires, peridot, and topaz.
This move comes as Pakistan steps up efforts to monetize its mineral resources amid fiscal challenges and an IMF-backed reform program. Over the past two years, the country has hosted international mineral conferences and signed agreements with nations like the US, Saudi Arabia, and China to improve governance, attract foreign investment, and advance mining and mineral processing.
Although Pakistan’s gemstone reserves are estimated at $450 billion, formal exports remain low—around $5.8 million annually—due to weak certification systems, limited local processing, smuggling, and fragmented regulations.
The PM’s office confirmed, “Sharif has granted in-principle approval to a national policy framework to reform Pakistan’s gemstones and precious stones sector and align it with international standards.”

Washington DC, 08 January 2026: National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman met with US Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer in Washington DC on Thursday afternoon. He also had a separate meeting with Assistant USTR Mr. Brendan Lynch.
During the meeting with Ambassador Greer, Dr. Rahman briefed him on the progress in reducing trade gap between Bangladesh and the United States.
"Even before the formal execution of the reciprocal trade agreement, Bangladesh has made major strides in reducing the trade gap by substantially increasing imports from the US and has implemented some key aspects of the agreement," Dr. said.
In light of this. Dr. Rahman proposed to USTR to reduce the reciprocal tariff from current 20 percent. Ambassador Greer agreed to positively consider this proposal.
He also agreed to give serious consideration to Dr. Rahman's proposal to lower or eliminate US reciprocal tariff on apparel using US content.
Both sides agreed to rapidly resolve a handful of outstanding matters in order that the reciprocal tariff agreement could be finalized and executed expeditiously.
Dr. Rahman pointed out that business contacts between Bangladesh and the US are expected to increase significantly in the coming days as a result of increased trade between the two countries.
He invited Ambassador Greer to use his good offices to ease business travel by Bangladesh in light of the recent inclusion of Bangladesh in the US visa bond.
Dr. Rahman also took the opportunity to request Bangladesh's access to DFC funding for its private sector. Ambassador Greer assured Dr. Rahman of his efforts in these regards.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the US, Mr. Tareq Md Ariful Islam, accompanied the National Security Adviser while Assistant USTR Brendan Lynch and other officials were with the USTR.
