The question might seem trivial, but give it a moment’s thought:

Why does Venice 🇮🇹 float?

What does it rest on?
And, most importantly, why doesn’t it sink?

Guys all this news - which shares speaking notes of Marc Miller - indicating extension of open work permits is NOT TRUE, I repeat NOT TRUE.

Marc Miller made those announcements on December 07, 2023.

And his reference to extension of work permits expiring "this year" was in reference to 2023.

Some social media miscreants have used this web page, highlighting the date of April 2024 at the bottom left corner - as being the applicable date and creating serious confusion that work permits can be extended this year. 🙄🙈
This date indicates, when the last update or change that was made to this web page. That update could be as minor as correcting a spelling or grammatical error.
Once again - please note there is no provision to extend PGWPs under any public policy in 2024.

Here is the link for the speaking notes
