@Elox6521@Dani_Supercell@supercell for instance, it’s not worth facing the fear of failure caused by a reset. It might sound harsh, but that’s the reality: either you play 24/7 to keep up if you want to stay on the global leaderboard, or you retire and just play casually for fun. (2/2)
@Elox6521@Dani_Supercell@supercell I’m sorry, but no. Getting a season reset isn't fun. For a casual or mid-level ladder player, why does it always have to reset, forcing you to start pushing all over again? If you're trying to reach Prestige 3 (1/2)
I’m not going to delete the tweet I’m quoting because I still agree with about three-quarters of what I said there. However, I thought about it more and realized that some of the things I initially said were wrong. Let’s go over the pros and cons of Brawler Blast compared to Starr Road:
•Pros
-as a new player, Brawler Blast helps you get newer Brawlers without having to wait up to 2 years like with the old Starr Road system.
-there’s a chance for the Brawler you unlock from Brawler Blast to come with a higher upgrade level, and a very small but possible chance of getting one directly at Level 11 with a Hypercharge.
-it solves the issue with Ultra Legendary Brawlers on Starr Road. If you don’t know what I mean, ever since Kaze was added, many F2P players have complained about how long it takes to unlock Ultra Legendary Brawlers through Starr Road (because in general, forcing a player to wait longer simply because a Brawler is a higher rarity, while not allowing them to continue unlocking the lower-rarity Brawlers after that Ultra Legendary slot, is poor game design)
-it gives players another reason to use Brawler Keys from the Brawl Pass if they’re trying to get a specific Brawler.
•Things that remain the same as Starr Road
-brawler unlock rates are mostly the same.
-the number of Credits required for each rarity remains the same.
-Fame remains unchanged. the devs didn’t mention any changes to this feature in the blog post
•Cons
-all of this comes at the cost of RNG.
-you can no longer know when you’ll unlock a specific Brawler.
-there’s a chance you’ll get Brawlers that are off-meta or simply ones you don’t like.
The feature seems fine I guess. But the endgame remains exactly the same. That’s why I’m leaving the tweet I’m replying to up instead of deleting it. I don’t agree with an update primarily focusing on just one group of players. I’m tired of this. It’s already been two years of the developers neglecting dedicated and maxed-out players.
Another day, another new problem I apparently have to deal with when it comes to Brawl Stars and Supercell. I feel bad for saying that btw but it's the truth.
Yesterday, Supercell launched Creator Bundles, a group of offers containing different cosmetics that aren’t available in the game. The most purchased bundle will also give players a Resource Key. The idea itself is really cool, but the execution is terrible, as usual.
I bought the last bundle from the first image (Yapimaru’s), which contained 2 Pins and a Player Icon. After I bought it, the website updated the other bundles and converted the cosmetics I had already obtained from the bundle I purchased into Gems. Which is actually a really good feature. However, it also converted the Spray that I was planning to buy the next bundle (Lex’s) for. I don’t even own that Spray ingame, so I don’t understand why the system would convert it. I waited for a while thinking maybe it would fix itself, only to find that the bundle eventually showed the cosmetics I had already obtained from the previous bundle, but there was absolutely no sign of the Spray I didn’t own.
The website basically ragebaited me. I tried contacting Supercell Store Support (with basically zero hope that they’d help, considering how capable they are), and they immediately hit me with the “we can’t help you” response. You’d normally expect a support team that exists specifically for these kinds of issues to actually help you, but in this case, don’t get your hopes up. Consider it over before you even start contacting them. So I’m publicly tagging the community managers to see if they can help me with this. I have almost every cosmetic in the game (and I know this is a very niche issue), but I genuinely want this bundle. And with that said, please be careful with anything you buy or plan to buy in the future, because the website can be extremely unstable.

I've always wondered why the devs want to make almost all of the content accessible as early as possible in every player's journey. I'm not surprised so many people end up saying the game gets boring after a while. there's no long-term progression system to work toward like there is in Clash of Clans
Get ready for a massive yap session. Here's what I really want the team to fix as soon as possible because some of these issues are becoming incredibly frustrating.
1. New Brawlers shouldn't be added to the Starr Road 16 days after their Early Access event ends.
It's such a strange design choice, and I've honestly never seen another game do anything like this. If someone misses the chance to play the Early Access, they're forced to wait another 16 days just because the Brawler literally isn't available anywhere. Maybe they were even willing to spend money to unlock them. It just feels really weird.
2. Small neglected issues pile up over time and eventually become one big problem, so let's start getting rid of some of them.
- Raise the Club trophy requirement cap beyond 100k. It's already been two updates since Prestige was introduced. I think it's time to consider adding higher trophy requirement options for Clubs because I don't really see why they still don't exist.
- Mega Pig rework. I've already talked about this in another post. In short, my idea is to make it work more like Mega Buffet, where you instantly claim rewards as you earn them, while also refreshing the reward pool every month with different rewards.. maybe even a free Skin from that update. We need something like this because right now the game barely encourages players to be social, even though Brawl Stars is fundamentally built around playing with others. More engaging Club events would naturally encourage players to organize sessions and play together.
- More Pin slots, or even a Pin Wheel system. I don't think I need to explain this anymore. There are thousands of Pins in the game, yet I can only use five per match, and realistically only two of them actually matter.
- More transparent communication. I really want to know what's going on with the servers. Ranked is almost impossible to play right now because you risk getting timed out simply because the servers fail to lock in the Brawler you selected during Draft, making the game think you dodged the match. On top of that, sometimes it takes me several minutes just to open a Daily Wins gacha reward. It's exhausting. I understand that fixing server issues isn't something that happens overnight, but a few words from the team on social media would go a long way.
- Replace the WebView interfaces. Ever since the Sirius Business event, where you could unlock Sirius for free by winning with every Brawler, the team has been relying on a WebView system that allows them to build interfaces much faster. I understand why they're doing it, it saves development time, but these interfaces feel... really cheap. Every time I've had to use one, it's been buggy, slow, and often doesn't even respond properly. The real issue isn't the webviews themselves. I can accept them for Community Events because those interfaces disappear after the event ends. It doesn't make sense to spend months building a native interface for something temporary that's mostly tied to social media.
The problem started when they introduced WebView into permanent parts of the game. I'm talking about the Friends List. I genuinely don't understand why they chose to move such a fundamental part of the game to webview when it barely works properly. Almost every time I open it, either some of my friends don't appear, none of them load at all, or their profiles refuse to load. It's incredibly frustrating and once again makes the overall experience feel unnecessarily exhausting. Bugs happen in every game, but at this point it genuinely feels like neglect, and I really hope that's not the case because the devs have shown many times before that they truly care about Brawl Stars. This is entirely in their hands.. they either need to make that interface work properly or stop using WebView for permanent features altogether.
Not even Twitter Premium can handle everything I have to say, so here's a thread. 🧶
